The US invades Honduras … again! 1907

On March 18, 1907, US troops invaded Honduras, which they occupied until June 8, without proper documents or visas.  The troops were supposed to be there to “protect American interests” during a war between Honduras and Nicaragua.  The undocumented troops were stationed in Trujillo, Ceiba, Puerto Cortez, San Pedro, Laguna and Choloma.
El 18 de marzo de 1907, tropas estadounidenses indocumentadas desembarcaron en Honduras, que ocuparon hasta el 8 de junio. Se suponía que las tropas estaban allí para proteger los intereses estadounidenses durante una guerra entre Honduras y Nicaragua. Las tropas estaban estacionadas en Trujillo, Ceiba, Puerto Cortez, San Pedro, Laguna y Choloma.
