Racism in Texas 2009

CNN reported that a family in Azle, Texas, posted a sign outside their home that many residents preferred that they hadn’t, reading “Hispanics Keep Out”.  While there were no documented reports of documented or undocumented Latinx attempting to enter their home, the family felt compelled to display the racist message as a preemptive strike.  Many of their neighboring Texans were distressed by the sign, and called for tolerance.
