Latinx Activists at Bloody Sunday 1965

The day became “Bloody Sunday” as the 600 civil rights marchers were attacked by state and local police with vicious dogs, heavy clubs and stinging tear gas. This march was the first of three; during the third rally on March 21, Latinx and Asian civil rights activists marched with the African-Americans.
